I'm Venessa Tinch. I studied computer science at the University at Buffalo, finishing three years of coursework, after a year of computer information systems at SUNY Alfred State.
Most of what I enjoy is hands-on: assembling and repairing PCs, tracking down a failing component, wiring up a small-office network, and administering Linux servers. On the programming side I work in Rust, Java, and C#.
Alongside school I spent nearly three years at Mighty Taco, where I trained 14 new hires and closed on a three-person crew. It taught me to stay accurate under time pressure and to be someone a small team can count on.
